Avalon covers are medium weight, durable and tear resistant fabric based covers designed for everyday seasonal use.
Made with GridTex 300D outdoor grade polyester with inner coating and double stitched, tape sealed seams for extra water repellency. The covers are UV treated for long lasting value though not totally fade proof. Features include an adjustable elastic hem cord, handles, air vents and tie down straps with buckles. The modern medium grey colour helps to hide dirt and grime. A great all-around cover that looks good and performs well in all seasons. NOTE: While Avalon covers are highly water repellant, it is important to keep covers tented to prevent water pooling and therefore water penetration. The covers will withstand cold temperatures but will have limitations with melting snow which can permeate through the material.

A solid choice
Avalon chair and sofa covered arrived within a couple of days of my order. The covers seems sized correctly. The colour is little lighter grey then the picture. The fabric is like thick rip-stop nylon and seems solid and I expect durable. A day after putting the covers on our patio furniture the remnants of hurricane Beryl blew through Ontario and was the worst rain we've ever seen. We've had days of rain and the covers have kept the pillows completely dry, with the exception of one particularly bad storm where there was some water on the underside of the cover and the pillows got a bit damp. To recap...rain tested and so far so good.
